KEY MANAGEMENT STAFF
 

Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited has invested heavily in human resource. The personnel who shall provide these services have acquired experiences and training elsewhere over long periods of time and are therefore well versed with matters regarding custody of pension schemes assets.

LARA ALAGBADA (MANAGING DIRECTOR)

  • Lara Alagbada is the Managing Director of Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited. She holds a First Class Degree in Accounting (SUMMA CUM LAUDE) (1985) from the University of the District of Columbia, Washington DC and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (1986). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (FCIP). A member of the International Who’s Who of Professionals, she is a also graduate of the Wharton Business School’s Management Development Programme (Oct. 2004), and recently the Euromoney Private Equity and Capital Market course (2008).

  • She brings with her over 23 years varied experience in Banking, Accounting and Corporate Finance. She has held management positions both in Nigeria and America. Prior to her appointment as the Managing Director of Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited, she had previously held the position of Group Head, Commercial Banking, Zenith Bank Plc and Group Head, Human Resources, Training and Development.

  • Her off-shore extensive management experience includes those acquired from Comsat Corporation (now part of Lockheed Martin), Washington DC where she was Manager, Investor Relations and The Acacia Group (now part of UNIFI Companies) where she was Manager of Financial Reporting and Budgeting.

  • Key management experiences in Nigeria include those gained at MTN Nigeria Limited, Lonrho Africa/John Holt Plc and Conoco-Phillips Nigeria Limited.

 


YINKA AJAYI, (HEAD CLIENT SERVICE BUSINESS SUPPORT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE)

Yinka joined Zenith Bank PLC in 1992 and has over 16 years post graduate experience. She holds a bachelor degree in actuarial Science from the university of Lagos and a masters in Banking and Finance from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and a Masters in Business Admin from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife.

Her portfolio includes supervising banking operations, monitoring and ensuring excellent service delivery within the bank network a a member of the total quality management team. She was also activelly involved in staff training and skills development.

She was seconded to Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited to spearhead Operational controls, and service delivery, client relationship Management and Business support.


BENSON IJOMONI (HEAD COMPLIANCE / RISK MANAGEMENT)

Benson holds a Higher National Diploma (HND), Marketing from Auchi Polytechnic and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Delta State University, Abraka. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Associate member of Chartered Institute of Taxation. He has over 25 years working experience, 16 years of them is with Zenith Bank Plc.

 He began his working career as an Accounting Assistant and rose to the position of Company Accountant with Babcock Nigeria Limited; a Germany based Electrical Engineering Company. He had a two years stint with D.O. Dafinone & Co (Chartered Accountants) which he joined shortly after the successful completion of the final stage of ICAN examination as Audit Senior. Thereafter, he moved to Leabub Nigeria Limited, a civil engineering construction company where he initially held the post of Audit Manager and later became the Chief Accountant. He ultimately secured employment in Zenith Bank in Feb, 1993.

In Zenith Bank, he has worked at different times in operations and marketing groups at head office and several branches. He held strategy positions like Head of Funds Transfer, Head of Operations, Group Head of Marketing and Head of Admin. He pioneered the opening of two branches; Sokoto branch and Computer Village branch as the Branch Manager. These branches were set up and successfully transformed to profitable and viable strategic business units


IMADE UHUNMWAGHO

Imade Uhunmwagho has over 12 years experience in Information and Software Technology in the financial services industry. This includes, but is not limited to his most recent position as the Head, Information Security, Business Continuity, Messaging and Collaboration in the Software Group of Zenith Bank Group.

He engineered and managed the merging of the bank’s two WAN networks into one; implemented the bank’s security firewalls and intrusion detection systems; and built and operated the bank’s business continuity center.

Imade is an April 1994 University of Benin Second Class Upper Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics Engineering) Graduate. He is Microsoft and Cisco Certified. He is also a Certified Internet Webmaster – E-Commerce Designer.

Imade is Head of the Information and Communication Technology Department of Zenith Pensions Custodian. He is charged with the responsibility of IT Strategic Planning and Execution, Information System Development, and Business Process Re-engineering.


EMEKA ANYAEJI (COMPANY SECRETARY/LEGAL ADVISER)

Mr. Anyaeji is an astute Lawyer who is vast in corporate attorney ship with bias in the area of company, commercial and investment laws. He has over eight years of corporate attorneyship in the Legal Services group of Zenith Bank. He is vast in international commerce practice of trusteeship and custodian business.

Mr. Anyaeji has been seconded from Zenith Bank to Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited as the company Secretary/Head, Legal Services.



PETER EZO, (BSC COMPUTER SCIENCE SYSTEM ANALYST)

Mr. Ezo has 6 years experience in the banking industry. He joined Zenith Bank PLC in year 2001 having spent 1 year stint at Nigerian Ports Authority as a Programmer.

Peter who has won several academic laurels is a software specialist and has considerable knowledge of the Temenos T24 software.
