Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited (ZPC) is a subsidiary of Zenith Bank Plc licensed by the National Pension Commission (PenCom) to provide Pension Fund Custody pursuant to the Pensions Reform Act 2004 and 2014 as amended. ZPC is run as a separate legal entity in line with global best practices and aims to be the foremost pension fund custodian in Nigeria. We are a reference point in the pension industry as a result of our exceptional services and competence as custodian. Zenith Pensions Custodian was one of the operators selected by the National Pension Commission to be understudied by countries like Ghana and Malawi prior to the implementation of their pension reform. We commenced operations in July 2006 and have been able to achieve outstanding growth in assets under custody to the tune of about N4 trillion, which accounts for 40% of the industry's total assets. ZPC has been able to carve a niche for itself in the Pension Industry as we place premium on excellent customer service, Information Technology, human capital development and sound corporate governance.
Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu is the Chairman of Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), and an Alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton Executive Education), Columbia Business School, Columbia University, and the Harvard Business School. Mr. Onyeagwu has over twenty five (25) years cognate banking industry experience.
She is the Deputy Managing Director of Zenith Bank. Prior to her appointment as Deputy Managing Director, she was the Executive director in charge of Public Sector, Abuja North, North Central and South-East Zones. Adaora holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, (B.Sc (Hons)) from the University of Jos and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calabar.
Sir Steve Omojafor became a Director of Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited (ZPC) on August 1, 2010. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos in 1972. An accomplished Public Relations Practitioner who has distinguished himself in the Nigerian Communication, Advertising/Publicity arena, Sir Omojafor worked with Rosabel Advertising Limited and pioneered the establishment of STB-McCANN Limited where he sits as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Umar Shuaib Ahmed comes to the board with almost 27 years experience in banking. He graduated in 1990 from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and thereafter obtained an M.Sc in Banking and Finance from Bayero University Kano in 1998.
Dr. Temitope Fasoranti, has spent over 26 years in the Nigerian Banking Industry. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (1988), a Master’s degree in Economics (1991) and a PhD in Economics all from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife.
Nkem Oni-Egboma holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Second Class Upper (1989) from Ahmadu Bello University and a Masters in Banking and Finance – MBF (1998) from the University of Lagos. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). She brings with her over twenty-eight (28) years experience in the Financial Services Industry (majorly Zenith Bank Plc) in Treasury Operations, Internal Control and Audit, Marketing and General Management.
Olayinka Ajayi is the Executive Director, Operations in Zenith Pensions Custodian Limited. She holds a B.Sc. degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos, an MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University, and a Masters in Banking and Finance. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and also a Fellow of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.
